A Family Recipe
Brought Home
Gjon Merdita spent eight years perfecting his craft at his cousin's gelateria in Cologne, Germany — learning every flavor, every technique, every secret. He carried that knowledge across the ocean and opened Ocala's first dedicated artisan gelato shop in June 2020, right in the middle of a pandemic.

Violeta handles the European-style pastries — sfogliatella, cannoli, lobster tails, tiramisu cake — bringing her family's tradition of Italian hospitality from Yonkers to Central Florida. Together, they've built something Ocala had never seen before.
